I’m 50, and I’ve never heard that tipping housekeeping is an actual thing in the United States, and I’ve never practiced it. My daughter worked at a Phoenix Inn for two years, in housekeeping, and said they got tips on rare occasion, but it was the exception, not the rule, and never expected.
