I feel like this sets the show up for some really interesting places. Dystopian earth? The end really hits a lot of dystopian tropes so I feel like we'll see some of that. Exploring Rick's past? Hell yes. Potential for the family or at least a character (Morty probably) to change completely after this.

I'm consistently surprised at the balance of humor and depth on this show. This episode touched on free-will issues, unhealthy relationships, depression, all in the midst of absurdist comedy. Not to mention whoever is scoring these episodes is brilliant. On point tonally.

I won't believe that until he shows up with much shorter hair somewhere else. The hair is in the contract apparently.
