All of them. Have you ever seen a red cow since this was made?

No no, Stop! Don’t ram the skis into the roof!!

Oh no! I'm running an egr delete on my mustang! Should I have to pay a hefty fine because some people are worried about emissions!? Fuck outta here with this bullshit. If people want to modify their vehicles then let them modify them. I get it everyone has an opinion but for fucks sake take yours and shove it up your

Mmm, yes: Angry badgering. That’s what wins people over. Scold people into seeing movies. That’s the Charlie’s Angels playbook. And look how well it worked out...

Is there really no room in your imaginations for someone who doesn’t look like you to be centered, to have a story, to have a background that was interesting?

Absolutely, and I can’t wait to do that in another decade when I pick up one of these on the used market...

It’s like people buy cars based off things other than stats and practicality!

Careful, she will be coming for minivans next. 😛

You’re implying that American culture is stupid and that he is too for wanting a pickup. I think you don’t know just how useful they are. You can drive to work in full comfort and never have to worry if any random item you might need to pick up will fit. Lumber, furniture, a sweet deal on a garden trailer for your

Wow, what is this, Bad Take Week? First, sedans are bad. Now, trucks are bad. What’s next, sports cars? There’s no reason you would need to ever go faster than 70 or get up to speed in less than 10 seconds /s

And yet, “Jalops” are ok with my ‘86 C10. Why? It’s a long bed, and massive. “Jalops” would probably be cool if I drove a 5K and parked it downtown.

I thought not stomping over other’s automotive preferences would have been a prerequisite for this job, but OK. Since I can assume you’re just trolling I’ll not get upset, but I will offer an alternative position. I daily a big ol truck for a number of reasons.

Very few people, including most jalopnik.com writers and readers, buy the vehicle they need. They buy the vehicle they want to and can (sometimes) afford. Nobody needs a BMW, Tesla, sports car, Jeep, roadster or any other car any of us would like to own. They all need a camry or a Grand Caravan. Or really just a bus

I would never own a full-sized pickup(except for maybe a SRT10), but warning bells go off when someone starts opining on what everyone else should drive. I can see similar arguments made against V8 ponycars- two inefficient, too big, too powerful, etc. My overriding vehicular ownership philosophy is: What car or

The intern has hotter takes tbqh

And is also another vehicle that needs to be registered and a place to park.

No but plenty of homeowners need something that can haul a door, plants, mulch, furniture, bbq and whatever else won’t fit in a sedan or SUV. It’s less about the max weight capacity of the bed and more about the volume above an SUV.

We need another SMALL pickup, because contrary to what automakers believe, not everyone who wants a pickup wants a 6,000lb behemoth that can tow the moon while carrying an Egyptian pyramid in the bed, all while heating and cooling the butts of four people.

Nothing says compensation like a mid-size, unibody, VW pickup.
