You would want to phone the guy who shoved his dick in your face to ask for evidence of said act and you think he wouldn't make you sign releases and other documents if he makes it available at all?

I was reading Hunter S Thompson's Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail not too long ago and what struck me was how many people he wrote about who could make a living freelancing just following stories around and how many people at the bigger papers could research a story for months before having to go to print and

I don't believe that to be the case. I don't dismiss allegations out of hand but I don't believe the Farrows' accusations hold water.

Even a special interest teen magazine back in the day wasn't entirely indistinguishable from a catalogue the way it is now.

I might have come off too asshole-ish in going on about the pedantry but I figure the Irish have thick skin.

This is actually why I don't believe Woody Allen is guilty of molestation. It strains credulity to think he would only do it once and to one person over all these years. Deeply creepy man with boundary issues out the ass and too glibly dismissive of anyone who might think it was weird to get involved with your

Right. I am sure there was lawyering up involved in something as hot potato as this.

People who claim to see the Loch Ness monster don't do it anonymously. They do it and revel in the attention. They are willing to go on record.

There are plenty of photographers, artists and even pornographers dealing with naked people every day in a completely professional way. This is just bullshit.

If the guy just acted normal-ish, as a rich media guy in NYC he can probably have all the naive WILLING younger women he wants. Creepy but kosher. Apparently that's not what he wants.

The assistant part is some twisted Stockholm Syndrome stuff.

It's not as if I am some super White Knight guy who doesn't know that - given the right mix of hormones and booze or other intoxicants - lines of consent can sometimes get blurry and all that stuff. Even among people with no real power imbalances, things can get hairy and messy.

There's also the whole - ''Oh c'mon honey. Look at it like a compliment. Powerful Guy in Your Chosen Field was just trying to get to know you. You know how artists are. And he knows so many people. You wouldn't want to cause a stir just as you are starting out...''

I don't often just believe anonymous accusations - too easy to make them. I don't know much about the fashion world other than briefly knowing a few models casually and hearing that it can be gross and exploitative but even for that, this guy is too much...

When you first started doing stories on this guy, I just thought he was a creepy asshole that had gotten on someone's wrong side. Now, it seems he is much worse. On top of being sleazy, pathetic and gross this is horrible and criminal.

Je me souviens, indeed.

And the COI has been awash in these kind of scandals and #NotAllLaundries and #NotAllOrphanages? Etc? These stories are a Catholic thing. That's as much a matter of economics as anything but still...

It is pedantic as fuck. How many St Mary's Homes for Unwed Mothers are you gonna find that far south and west? In a country that even today identifies as no more than 3% COI and the largest concentrations being up by Dublin?

Maybe your school was better funded than other schools.

Nope. Like actual scalding hot metal brand that hurts and ouchies you. Google it and you can find videos and stuff of them doing it. Too gross for me to post.
