I have never seen one of these in person—I would've forgotten too if Motor Trend hadn't had one for a long-term tester (and loved it, apparently).

It's how you can tell I listen to waaay too much NPR.
The class douchebag drove one of these, which I find really ironic, but then again, his dad was a German immigrant. It was yellow, and beat-to-hell, but I still wanted it. Otherwise, there was another douche with a really nice looking 20-year-old Volvo 240, but practically everyone else in the class (myself…

($2800 in 2003 = less than it was worth) Went through four transmissions in one summer, and replaced 3 separate power window mechanisms, the switches, and most of the door wiring, not to mention a couple mirrors. Totaled after five…
The road car looked too much like an early 1990's concept. This, on the other hand, is pure sex.

I thought the whole thing was great, but it is ridiculously long, so I'll just post the part that I found especially eye-opening.
Hey! Jalops! Over here! We have a time traveler from ten years ago!
OMFG, I just saw the girl off Boris Becker's left shoulder.
Some of those powerful, trumpet-style horns almost remind me of an organ stop, like the State Trumpet at St. John the Divine, heard during the first 1:30 or so of this video. I especially enjoy the reaction when the first note is played, and the part where the cameraman apparently fights with his mother.
