I agree! I am very impressed by how my niece has navigated this in her life. It was extremely disruptive when she was a child and wasn’t able to always control her environment. Which, she obviously still can’t completely control, but she makes very educated decisions.

I agree with you in principle, but it is sometimes difficult to only eat home-prepared food. My niece, who has a nut allergy, has figured out which places are safer than others. But she rarely eats out.
