My mom used to work for Vanguard as their librarian. The management proposed building an onsite daycare for employees with children. Employees without children threw a temper tantrum (as my mom tells it). They wanted to know why the extra money was being spent only on a certain proportion of the employees.

Please correct me if I’m wrong here, but doesn’t Title IX just require equal funding for things designated as single-gender? So couldn’t they just have opened up an all-male study area to compensate?

I like Ryan Reynolds, but I have to admit those are some good points.
