Okay, I’ll bite... what’s going on with that long bed crew cab wheelbase? Where is one supposed to use this thing in anger... the salt flats?

I have seen the future of Lemons, and it is this comment ^

STIs and sunburn aren’t the biggest health threats

...both of them

Assuming you didnt put that MIA front caliper back on in the process... yeah, you’d die

None are offered in the W-series. You probably need an actuated one to work in this vehicle

Alternator went bad (DIY for about $300 for an autozone part and a day’s worth of my time. They put that thing in the worst possible place).

I have found the opposite, I’ve been really disappointed. Compound(s) apparently from the last century, and terrible friction output cold or hot. There are much better options...

Say what you will, but these guys have addressed the #1 deficiency of this platform... turning it from a generally not so useful / versatile car without enough tire to a legit track day ready sports car. Its a real headache to make changes like this post factory, as any who have tried will attest

Next up: “Get those shoes out of my Urus!!” etc

While I recognize some of the thoughtfulness here - such as the slack in the line cord and routing of the ratchet strap allowing the driver’s rear door to open and close - there’s going to be some serious buffeting and NVH issues with the loose cord and the towel at highway speed. Unless this is a city only UberX kind

This was absolutely the right move. What Alpina should have done, is what BMW should have done in the first place, and made this a full EV. 460 BHP+ would be easy to do in the envelope of the i8

Indeed yes, the 647 is the moped motor... detuned at that. It would be a lot of work to do the i8 transplant, perhaps not possible to maintain electric drive, at least not without sacrificing the trunk and the back seat... but hey, I am willing to make sacrifices! Just waiting for Copart to do their... part, really

NB... also, the i3 would be instantly awesome with an i8 rear axle drivetrain swap. So, thanks for this idea

Traction control!

Okay its just me then... but the version that has less than 300 hp and looks like venereal disease has no appeal to me

Yeesh... hold out for an S4 or GTS, yo. They’re out there
