Take your star!
They said in the video that the conversion starts at $4300.
According to the manufacturer’s video, the conversion starts at $4300. What’s an 11 year old, 200K+ miles Element worth? Maybe $5K? It’s kind of cool. Might be worth $1000-$2000 premium over a standard Element, to the right buyer. I couldn’t see paying more than about $8,000 for this.
“Uh, I’m just gonna go look for a cash machine.”
I straight busted out laughing when I read that.
4 foot crack bong.
Oh, I don’t know. Before I had kids I dailied an AP1 and loved every minute of it. These days, if a vehicle seats fewer than 7, it’s “too small”. My X5 is the small car. :P
Whoa, Canyonero! Whoa!
The only way this thing is worth 11 grand is if it comes with a bag containing $10.5K in cash, or 20 grand worth of crack (seeing as how the new owner would have to be into that sort of thing). Crackus Pipus Alldaylongus.
Okay, but what would it be worth in driveable condition? Hold off on the body and paint. It could probably be a driver for under $5K (engine, brakes, suspension, rubber lines, etc). I really have no idea what it would be worth, but I’d suspect more than $10K.
Non-negotiable and the wheels aren’t included. If that doesn’t scream “okay, honey... yes, I did put the ad up for the Lincoln. Yes, honey... yes... Yeah, it’s for sale... The ad’s up!”
It’s clean. That’s about all that’s notable about this car.
COTD!
Great truck, will definitely go for many more years. However, there are similar options in this category for a better price. I recently picked up a QX56 in excellent condition for its age, 4 years newer and with much lower miles for $4500. Granted it’s 2WD, but that’s fine by me since it’s doing double duty as a…
Restoration? That seat screams otherwise. I wouldn’t want to ride in it, let alone own it. But for what it is, NP.
These trucks were straight piles of crap. I can smell the old Ford odor from here. Even the nicest ones were garbage. CP if it were free. Could I resell it for a lot more? Probably, but I don’t want to get stuck with it like this guy. Now if it were a Bronco, it’d be a different story. Still one of the ugliest of the…
In the army, we did a few barbecues in some of the more remote parts of the globe, and always used diesel to start the fire. Works great, nice slow, controlled burn, and we always had plenty on hand. It’s all long since burned off by the time you cook anything.
Let’s see... 6,000ish miles, just a tick over half the price of new, and most importantly—nay, critically— still under warranty. Just by the numbers, it almost doesn’t matter what kind of car it is. NP all day long and well into the night.
