I see what you did there.
I see what you did there.
I can see we’re going to get a lot of mileage out of this.
This.
So I had to look. Quickly came up with this: https://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/d/fairfield-1993-bmw-850-ci-limited/6791341713.html
Nice! I can see that after coming from the WS-6. Personally the M3 is one of the few cars that I felt was damn near perfect as-is. It was certainly fast. Maybe not “scare the crap out of you” fast, but as fast as I ever wanted to go (and it was so rare that I could even get a taste of all that power). I felt like…
Ha! Me too. A dream car that is cheap enough to actually own now, but I’m too scared to buy one. Also a current X5 35D owner and previously an E46 M3 vert.
It would’ve been nice if they’d elaborated on the “small electrical issue”. That could mean a lot of things, most of which have nothing to do with the CEL being on. Does it mean that the radio doesn’t work, or the driver’s window stopped moving, or something much worse? I once had a Prelude that started honking the…
That 90 sure is ugly.
Breaks a major rule (someone else’s project), but I’m going NP on this. I personally would never buy it (maybe if I had a time machine), but NP nonetheless. As much of a hack job as this is, it’s better than I’ve ever done. And yes, the belts are connected and there is plumbing under the blower that is connected to…
The belt issue was really bugging me. If you look closely in the first engine picture, you will see that the belt actually does go down to the crank pulley. The alternator belt is running on the front half of the crank pulley and the AC/blower is running of the back half. A quick google search will validate that this…
Well said. Great if you have dogs, not so great with kids. And sure, kayaks too.
“Don’t hose out the interior of a Honda Element like *MY* brother.”
Fugly as all get out, but I guess some people are into that. We looked at these once. I could’ve actually appreciated the quirky looks, but the seating arrangement was an instant dealbreaker. Never mind that the CRV that these are based on is an absolute turd. I did end up buying one of those and got rid of it as soon…
Totally agree.
I was thinking the same thing. No way this was a straight B&E. They had to have some insight. Not saying they were helped, but maybe visited dad at work enough times to notice a few things, like where they keep the keys and how to get into them.
ITR came out in 1997 with 108.33 HP per liter. S2K came out in 1999 with 110 HP per liter. Both phenomenal performers, then and now. There are cars now with higher output per liter, but these are generally getting into supercar territory. The 911 GT3 RS makes 125 HP per liter).
That’s why so many got the JDM front end. It’s actually shocking how original this one is, considering the myriad of aftermarket and JDM options available for these cars.
What looks like a panel gap between the bumper and the hood is actually a strip of rubber. God only knows why, but all Integras of this generation came that way. It’s just a lot more obvious (and painful to look at) on a white car. Other than the obvious scuffs, the panel fit looks to me exactly how it should…
105K is an imperial shit-ton of miles on an RV. Might be NP for somebody, but even if it shows well, it’s over 40 years old and it will no doubt still need a ton of work. CP for me.
Would I buy it for that money? No, but somebody probably will. These are rare (much more so with the diesel), have a strong following, and are bound to continue to go up in price. I’d expect that there will be some negotiation because it interests a small pool of buyers, but I don’t think they’re too far off at $22K.
