And Tom Paris got that snazzy racing suit.

I’d feel more comfortable driving that then your postal Jeep... Slightly more comfortable.
Looks good from every angle except head-on. That black hood bulge looks like a witch’s nose. I can hear it cackling at me!
At no amount would this ever be nice price. Although some people do have a thing for pain...
Ain't that the truth!
I think just ‘87-88.
A uniquely, and attractively, kitted Fox body. My personal preference is for the more subdued (and lighter) notchback, but this one, with its low miles, T-Tops, red interior and MT, is a future classic . I actually kind of like the red plaid. The mods are appropriate and tasteful. Perhaps most importantly, the miles…
That’s two average E36 M3s around here (northern California), or a nice E46.
On my 3rd BMW now, and the only catastrophic failure I had was the AT failing on my E36 (which was subsequently converted to MT). Never any problems with my E46 M3, now I’ve moved on to an E70 X5 35D. There’s no comparison to some of the other Euro marques, like anything from VAG. They just don’t hold up very well…
Beautiful truck, but the mere thought of owning another Rover makes my skin crawl. The rumors are true. Granted, mine was the previous generation so it’s not exactly apples to apples. That thing was fantastic when it was working. I can honestly say, with no hyperbole whatsoever, that it never went more than two days…
I wanted to love this, and would drive the shit out of it. I actually don’t mind the Rhino Liner (except maybe the added weight). It’s purpose built, and it would be a hell of a fun winter beater, but there are way too many red flags. No mileage, no interior shots are the biggest concerns. Even with a clean interior…
These days I do live in California, and I have absolutely no need for a winter car. Winter here is rain. I grew up in Minnesota, though, where I wouldn’t dare drive anything nice in the winter. I went through cars like my kids go through shoes.
Notice the “IX” in the name?
Dang, son. Dang.
You get a star for dropping a Deming.
“And don’t do it if you’re a monkey.”
I use that one all the time. Couldn’t remember where it came from. :)
So true. I owned one for a minute... It literally, and I mean zero exaggeration, NEVER went more than two days without something breaking. I was the 2nd owner and it had under 100K miles.
Miata is always the answer.
I saw an ‘84 or so Cavalier wagon yesterday. I literally thought I was hallucinating.
