I’ve never seen one of these before but damn it looks good.

After closer examination, I think the facelift works. They’re pushing it into the “professional grade” realm a lit more. It has an aesthetic of a dewalt tool box with the increased chamfers and angles throughout the grille. Its pushing father away from the silverado which I like.
Thanks to my dyslexia i read it as “animorph phallus titanium” and now my mind is a flurry of ideas.
Its like the smell of minty fresh freedom and industrial fortitude.
Well obviously. Cadillac Elmiraj.
The only concept car to have a lisp.
Rebuilt my E39 540iM, sort of. All suspension components: 8 control arms, struts ans springs replaced with Bilstein/H&R sport cup kit, all the bushings. Then transmission mounts, rebuilt and recentered the driveshaft with billet bearing, new CV, center bushing, and Guibo disc. Replaced every engine gasket, vacuum…
Good on you sir. That’s way too intimidating for me.
As the owner of a 16 year old german car, you’ll be seeing a lot of me.
The focus on better quality, more appealing starter bikes is exactly what’s needed in my opinon. Bravo y’all.
Oh right! Totally forgot about that. I’ll have to look into it.
Driving from Milwaukee to Vermont with my dad, 16’ fishing boat in tow. The boat was full of fishing gear, camping gear, tools, probably a bit over-loaded. The boat in question was purchased by my father in 1985, being towed by a 02’ Ranger, both had seen better days. Somewhere around the South Bend area we heard a…
If importing them wasn’t an issue, I’d be in full support of this.
Why, thank you. Honestly if I drove something exotic or desirable that’s what I’d do. Or if I won the lottery I’d hold supercar charity races to benefit Autism research.
The continentals were nearly half the price, and felt like better grip under braking. But the nokian hakkapeliittas were nice, really expensive (like $220-270 each), great on gas, and I think wear a bit better. But again, in snow (where 6-12” a day isn’t uncommon) I just focus on the traction.
Go to a childrens hospital and offer kids rides in a three-wheeled-AutoBot/Batmobile.
Interesting. They appealed to me due to the similar engine architecture of the E46, which I’ve worked on quite a bit. As an E39 owner, I miss my E46.
True that. Outside the shop I’ve taken my car to, I’ve seen a 3.0 X5 with a 5speed manual. That sounds more up my ally, financially speaking. And I’d bet there are plenty of 330i ZHP parts that could make it a fun whip.
I’ve had Nokians and Conti Extreme winter contacts. It’s fun, but when you need to get to work on time it can be frustrating.
This. Although I live in the buckle of the rustbelts snowbelt, the X5M would be preferred for winter. Driving a 540iM in 8” of snow isn’t as fun as you’d think.
