On a news segment I saw yesterday the reporter said cops showed up at a supermarket with their guns drawn in response to reports of looting. Guns drawn. In chest high water (reporter’s words).

Yeah, also saw something about looting a shoe store and a liquor store on the news.

There is something in the penal code about necessity. What necessity entails is the question. I’d argue your list of life saving stuff SHOULD qualify.
