So moved.
So moved.
If Purdue Pharma comes up with a way for me to inject impotent rage Jim Butts directly into my veins, well, they will have earned all my bitter wolves fan dollars.
You nailed it with the Kevin Love comparison, IMO. Put their two best seasons side-by-side. They are unbelievably similar. To be fair, Cousins was probably having an even better season last year prior to his injury. But by bringing that up, I also have to note that his team got better without him.
To be clear, my taek is indeed hot. I contend that he was never, at any point, actually good.
Nope. I think that frustrated a lot of folks too, because he had the physical tools.
I guess I would not predict he’d be a “bust,” but if I was a Philly fan I’d worry that it will play out like the Mauer contract (one guy who I have a bit more info on since all my coworkers are Twins stans). Mauer was a really good player prior to getting paid, and had one giant year. After getting paid he settled…
That is a good, thoughtful article. Guess I should check that site more often.
My ongoing hot taek is that Boogie is not actually good. Empty stats have never had a better vessel.
The Phillies signing Bryce Harper to a 13-year deal because of a Twitter poll is not quite like the Brown drafting Johnny Manziel because a homeless person told Jimmy Haslam to—for one, there were no bad options for Philly here, as both Machado and Harper are amazing players.
Personally, I just think how easy it would be for him to fit in with Steph Curry, Dame Lilliard, or even James Harden. I am a Timberwolves fan, so obviously biased here, but I anticipate Towns will have his best years in another city. And its going to be with a primary ball-handler who has a little bit of cool about…
I really don’t think that a good run with Jimmy Butler should be overshadowed by a shit run with malcontent Jimmy Butler one year later. Everything was going pretty well before Jimmy buckets decided he needed a little more drama in his life. Hell, even if things hadn’t worked out with Jimmy from the start, I think…
I should have checked the grays before responding. Well said.
Ok. But why the need for it to be “fraudulent” (by which you mean “hidden,” I guess). What drives the behavior underground?
Truly, this scourge of paying people to do things must be stopped, and now. Perhaps we could start by imprisoning all the folks who imprison other folks for money.
You mean they won’t beat the Warriors?!? HOW EMBARRASSING
Too bad. He could really shore up that defense.
I enjoyed it well enough, but quickly gave up on a re-play. Meanwhile, I have played HZD twice, and Witcher 3 times (my two favorite games, hands down).
And if you flipped the genders they’d surely not be supportive. My wife is, candidly, a complete mess. What if I “force” her to Kondo some stuff? All cool?
Like he did Foles?
The more you know, I guess.
