It is nearly impossible to get many Americans to care about how Black Americans are treated by the US government. Getting them to care about people (oftentimes non-white, oftentimes poor) outside of the US seems less likely than me being vaporized in a tokamak.

Salutations, neighbor! Like you, I’ve never really understood Slymans or the appeal of the mega-sandwich. There are people here to swear by that place, and I’m just looking around at all the incredible food in Cleveland (it really is a great food city) that I could be having rather than Slymans.

I was on a motorcycle next to an 18wheeler when one of its back wheels exploded right in front of me. I can’t explain how loud it was but I’ve had lightning strike a light pole in a parking lot I was standing in once and this was louder than that. So loud my nervous system was already reacting to it before my brain…
