After several recent breakfast runs to McDonalds I have determined that the number 2 consisting of a sausage Mcmuffin and hashbrown is probably the best fast food breakfast option. For years I touted the BK Croissanwich as being superior but I had one recently and it was super greasy and nothing like I remembered.

Two reasons:

It’s a plus and minus for me. I’m grateful to have my wife and kids so that we aren’t completely isolated. That said, I have one of those incredibly close extended families that get together every week. My sisters’ kids are almost like siblings to my kids. I also do feel bad for my dad who lives alone since he is used

If we were to tomorrow start following the South Korean model of test-and-quarantine, rinse-and-repeat, we’re looking at resuming something resembling post-COVID-19 economy by Summer.

Tesla can get away with their casual approach to selling cars because they have no real competition. They are still in the honeymoon phase where everyone who shows up at a Tesla store is predisposed to want one. Legacy brands that have actual competition know that if you don’t buy a car from them RIGHT NOW, there is

I wouldn’t count against Stephen Miller trying to find out. It would for sure be litigated, but given the rulings Congress and the Supreme Court have granted this administration because “welp, he’s president. Can’t check or balance that!” I’m not sure we have an effective framework to go against him if he were to

Frankly I won’t get a fucking nickel out of any of this and I am A-OK with that. I want everybody to be in the position where they don’t need a government bailout, and the downstream effects of mass evictions, bankruptcies, and repos would be SO much worse for the economy, massive numbers of deaths or not.

I’m pretty sure an untraceable slush fund for corporations would work just as well.

His comment was so bad and stupid I didn’t respond, like you should have not either.

I bought 5 Toyota Corrollas this morning in case they run out. Pretty sure I can sell them for $70k each in a week or two.

Yea LW1, that’s a hard pass for me. That’s a point I know that *I* cannot return from. The whys and hows aren’t the critical part of it for me, because unless you explicitly discussed polyamory, that’s the worst breach of trust possible. Kids are tough and really strain a relationship, but that’s not an excuse to have

Around $5k. But it will also include a bunch of options nobody wants.

Great news, everybody! You won’t have to resort to scrounging old newspapers and copies of The Farmers’ Almanac to wipe your ass. Toilet paper is on its way back to us, better than ever before.

We’re using the 3 pasta shell method in my house.

The WHO and CDC are smart enough to account for the number of cases that go unreported and can factor that into their numbers. So I wouldn’t discount what they say. Also when it comes to exponential growth, you can’t equate total number of people who die from viruses each year to the total number that have died after

They’re parked on the lot right next to the $35k Tesla Model 3s.

That’s the same way my work is as well.

“Laid off folks” are probably not the target market for this particular product, methinks. “Independently wealthy” is more like the demographic sweet spot for this hoopty.

Do base models generally exist in large numbers for anything other than econoboxes?

Yay! I found the “flu is worse” guy!
