Is it really worth the argument over the semantics? I've yet to meet someone who supports these kinds of initiatives who doesn't understand that it gets paid for with taxes.

Sounds more like he did the bare minimum for the guy and actually engaged with the woman.  He could just as easily thrown out a "some weather huh?" Or "what do you think about team x this year?" Especially before the second customer arrived.  If the guy wants to chat, great probably drive up the tip. If not, it's easy

The best part is, it’s not all that unlikely that someone already in shape would ask for a Peloton because they’re a popular and effective spinning home machine.

They do have an obligation to be friendly and welcoming.

Im still disappointed that they didn't name it the lightning

Well it's a SFW reference, but I'm not responsible for what that devil Google pulls up!

Does your sandwich have the moistmaker?

Well your question didn’t specify a relation to electric cars, but I’ll rephrase:

One easy example would be significant investment in robot assembly reducing the need for people to do those jobs.

To be fair, most people never knew we had it.

The law isn't that it's ok to jaywalk if the crosswalk is far away. It's the pedestrian's responsibility to find a legal place to cross.
