Right? Like...that’s already a stage name. It’s odd to me that she changed it.

Omg I know. I hate that your right one this. The real double whammy was her and Rita Ora. It was like the tornado of WHO??? I argue that the only reason a lot of her songs got as popular as they did was because she attached herself to bigger stars. However, even the great Britney couldn’t save her at the end of the

I’m gonna be so mad if Baba Yaga wins all of this. Mainly because I’m still upset about Mothwoman.

Unrelated but I can’t take it anymore: Playing an ad in the middle of the article is the most annoying thing ever. The article never loads properly because it’s working on loading the ad and any time I try to scroll, the website freaks out and either jumps to the end or back to the beginning of the article. All I can

YEESSS.

A lot of my favorites were knocked out early, but I take pleasure in seeing their murderers losing out now. Also, I’m all about these dark, evil beauties we got in this race. I think the Halloween season is giving them an edge and I’m ok with it.

Haha and see, I’m ok with your logic of ‘oh I like this artist, let me see what’s up.’ That I can accept. And now Hold Me Batboy is stuck in my head. Haha MUSICALS OR DIE apparently.

My summary of Legally Blonde was a pretty popular girl who isn’t mean and has an initial conflict with her ex’s new gal is 100% true. The same with Bring It On. It’s about a group of popular girls who are mean to a group of outsiders (in this case a rival school). This is also true. I’m not saying there isn’t more to

Yeah, came here to say the same thing. Had she gone on a rant about how everyone getting a C section was lazy, cool, torch it up, but she’s talking personally so I’m not sure I see why everyone’s upset.

That last paragraph: ten points to your Hogwarts house of choice.

I felt like there were a lot of revivals this year. Not that I don’t want to see Bette in Hello Dolly, but damn that show’s played out. Also, I think Carousel took Great Comet’s spot and I have issues with anyone still trying to do that show.

Oh Batboy, such a weird, gem of a musical.

Thank god. I’m getting killed out here. I knew it was an unpopular opinion but hell. Another annoyance: when a straight play gets turned into a sub par musical and no one ever does the straight play again.

I’m in no way being sexist and would argue the reverse. Heathers, Mean Girls, and Bring it On are all about groups of pretty popular girls who are catty and mean to the outsider(s). Legally Blonde is also about a pretty popular girl, she just happens to not be mean. In all but Blonde, the protagonist takes a different

Really? So Rocky, Carrie, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, American Psycho, etc. were worth turning into a musicals? My problem is people aren’t doing this because they want to make theatre or art, they’re doing it because they want to milk an already lucrative franchise into more money. I love Fey, and I’ll give her the

It’s not a big leap and it’s been rumored for years now, but it doesn’t mean that it should happen. There’s already Legally Blonde, Bring It On, & Heathers. Do we really need another bitchy high school movie to stage musical adaptation?

As a theatre professional I just need to shout one more time: NOT EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE TURNED INTO A GOD DAMN MUSICAL.

I did something similar when I was in a deep emotional hole recently. I turned my phone on Do Not Disturb and omg did it help. No notifications, or buzzes, or anything unless I looked at it and wanted to see them. It was really nice not to be pinged every 5 min for something.

So much latex, so much variety. I’m with ya on the cenobites. Plus I’d argue that if you market it correctly, you’d get a sweet cinobun sponsorship out of it too.
