Pretty much every car-service car was a Lincoln Town Car, too. There were likely (this is a total guess, but still) a few thousand of those cruising around Manhattan at any given time.

I also am baffled by parents who believe they “need” a minivan or SUV just because they have a kid or two. Families on the entire rest of the planet happily drive around in hatchbacks. You can fit adults + children + many items in a hatchback! It’s the main idea of a hatchback!
