The USFS doesn’t “hunt” Bigfoot. Bigfoot is a valued ally of the Forestry Service and the USFS helps protect and hide Bigfoot. This is all made clear by the secret Forestry Pact Addendums signed by Teddy Roosevelt when he created the National Parks.

What this reveals to me is that we don’t really have many basic utilitarian trucks available right now. It’s getting harder to find a 2 door standard cab, and it’s impossible to find something without overdone styling and useless cladding.

Wonder how the new Bronco will look in this livery.

You say this like it’s a bad thing?

Yes. We need less silver, gray, and white. More color!

They actually explained it when they made the change. They were paying $400 per vehicle for that color, but then also losing another $1,000 or so at resale, because at the time, nobody wanted that color. So they basically paid for the color twice. Not insignificant considering the size of the fleet.

When the C8 debuted and Jalopnik was 15 articles in I made a shitty comment saying no one cared how the front lift system repurposed an ABS pump. I think it was Bradley who called me out for it and rightfully so.

I think I want it to be full retro with a white grille, bumpers and steelies as well as roof.

Probably the budget got cut so low that they couldn’t afford a custom color anymore. Yay lower taxes for the rich!

It’s a goddamn tragedy USFS retired the color and uses plain old white now... Why can’t we have nice things???

The notion that two parties can represent >300 million people is ridiculous. Each of the existing parties could easily split, and there would still be room for a 5th party. Very little of how Congress currently works is in the Constitution (like Senate Majority Leader), so there is a lot of room for a coalition

And flout the laws they don’t agree with. Like removing emissions equipment from their diesel truck or shooting a deer/turkey/duck without a tag.

I have to think Ford’s investment in Rivian is not just a whim and they’ve committed to leveraging Rivian’s technology at some point. I can see them holding back in terms of timing so as not to cannibalize Rivian’s launch (as a major investor).

Are the 4 door Silverados still made at the plant in Mexico? Asking for a friend.

A 2-door hybrid Bronco with a washable interior is the definition of “shut up and take my money”.

If they make a PHEV version of the Bronco it automatically jumps to the short list for our next car.  I can’t imagine they won’t, though.  It’s a perfect fit for the car - and a natural option for people who love everything about the Bronco except it’s (Probable) fuel economy.

The more I hear about Virginia, the less I ever want to spend a single second in that state. With all due respect, what the hell were you thinking driving even a single MPH over the limit there?

Congratulations! The law of averages indicates that eventually you would get a good one. Enjoy.

I always had an affinity for him as well, but I grew up in Milwaukee as well, so that’s a big reason why.

I’ve bought two BMWs European Delivery. They give you a lower *invoice* price of the car, so you can still negotiate the final price with the dealer, and a nice day at the BMW Welt delivery center and free tickets to the BMW Museum and factory tour in Munich. The give you a dedicated person to go over the car with
