I prefer Star Wars myself. I felt that the storytelling in Star Wars is more enriching, adventurous, dramatic, and has a wide range of elements that make it exciting to follow.

Must be the reason one of these is in my driveway:
They are called options for a reason.
The comparisons were brought on by Warner Bros with their “Bohemian Rhapsody” trailer.
Actual reason he will not buy a new F250:

Yeah. It’s weird, GotG worked better to introduce the Infinity Stones then Age of Avengers did. I really do wonder why the execs forced that to be a plot point to detract from ol’ Ultron.
You don’t have to buy any of the assists.
It’s not necessarily that you need the tech, but if it’s available, why not use it? While I agree that it’s expensive, with lots of stuff to break, they’re catering to the market that wants all that stuff and is accepting of the price.
Okay but what if instead they just made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies? Because those are tasty as hell.
Oatmeal raisin cookies suck, though.
I appreciate the well reasoned, extended metaphor, but all I got out of it was a strong hankering for cookies.
In WB’s defense, the plan they had *was* better than 11% of a plan.
I'm SHOCKED. Just make a good movie guys, that's it, it isn't magic, it isn't copying Marvel. Marvel is popular because their movies are good, they (mostly) make sense, and people like watching them. That's it, that's all.
Probably Revenge of the Sith
Why does IMDB even allow user ratings before the first release date? This has never made sense to me. This would not be a difficult constraint to program in.
Your point about comparing this to Avengers is well stated. Suicide Squad could have really worked well if its characters had already debuted in their respective heroes’ films individually. Imagine if Deadshot had been taken down by Batman first, in a Bat film, and the same with Captain Boomerang in a Flash film, etc.…
So. Much. This.
I haven’t seen this, but I disagree with the idea that any of these characters need to be properly set up in order to work in the movie. That is the biggest problem with comic book movies in general — the origin story is played out.
“Trust us! BvS is the movie that’s gonna justify this whole cinematic universe of ours!”
