Mazda6 as well.
That aqua colour is the worst thing ever. It reminds me of the LED handheld video games i played as a kid. Or a vacuum-fluorescent desktop calculator from the 1970s. Or any VHS deck ever made. It's just awful.
First problem is that its a GM product; for me personally after 2 decades of buying/driving GM vehicles exclusively i had enough an will never buy their junk again.
GM repeat customers have short memories.
If you're distracted, you won't be thinking about the horrible car you just bought and still have 83 more payments to make on.
I dislike sedans, period. Doesn't matter how nice it is. I feel like it's a design compromise.
I wouldn't bet on the car improving with the next model. Why would they make the car desirable when they'd rather sell you an SUV with more profit?
I'm going to be honest - how is this nothing more than a giant fucking distraction that you have to pay for every month?
Did GM explain why I would want another device, this time a car, with a data plan when I already have one in my pocket? I can do the hotspot trick with that one too and I'm able to take that one with me after I park the car. It seems a little backwards. I'd think you'd want the car to use your phone's 4G connection.
OnStar's also got a (totally optional) RemoteLink app where you can remote-start the car from your phone, check the tire pressure, oil life and fuel level.
Fusion an eyesore? I don't like Fords but I have to say the Fusion is probably their best looking car.
Gm hit the mark on the Malibu if they're looking for a car that elicited no excitement at all. It seems to be built for people like my girlfriend - she only cares if the car has a stereo and sunroof.
It sounds like the car's killer feature is something that's designed to give passengers (and driver, for that matter) something other than the car to focus their attention upon.
Gaming PCs are probably the equivalent of all those SUVs and other 'burb trucks. I don't "need" a $1000+ PC, or any PC, in the way a coder or designer might, but it's part of my lifestyle.
I don't even know if this is relevant to the conversation, but in the U.S., at least, more trucks are sold than cars every month. I think there have been only a handful of months in the past 40 years where more cars were sold than trucks.
I think the Surface Pro pretty much debunks that theory. A tablet is nothing more than a packaging exercise. Just because early tablets, like iPads and Android tablets had limited hardware and limited functionality doesn't mean future tablets will be as restricted.
Last week a particular patent submitted by Apple outlined its plan to bring the mobile virtual assistant Siri to the…
Put it this way... I would love to see anyone code for an iPad/iPhone or Android device on the actual device. I would say it's nearly impossible without keyboard and mouse.
Most work is still done on PCs.
This isn't a bad idea for collecting some information, but for cameras, keep in mind that the skill of the photographer is generally going to drastically outweigh the capabilities of the equipment when looking at the final result.
