Volvo lives up to their reputation for safety. Also, quick reaction by the truck driver.

Ugh, another one of those people that lives in a magical fairytale land where you can pull out into traffic any time you want and everyone else will instantaneously change speed and violate the laws of physics to accommodate you.

oops, brakes***

Great driving, great brakes, great reaction by the driver. I feel bad for the little old lady...looks like she just realized she was one crappy truck driver away from buying the farm....

And ZIP...right over the head.

If you were a little bit taller it would have hit you right in the forehead.

Now playing

Another great example of how Volvo makes damn good trucks

We need more doge...sometimes. Like right now.

What I'm taking away from this is there are stupid drivers all over the world, and Volvo trucks have brakes that can stop the Earth's rotation. Holy balls.

Props to Volvo - I cannot believe that truck stopped in such a short distance.

I'm not sure if's for sale on the American market but you can get a thing called active cruise control on the FM's and FH's I've used it don't go much on it but then Volvo have tried a convoy system which is basically the idea being that you have say 5 trucks with the front truck doing most of the driving with the

Wow, if that's not a testament to that guy's reaction time and Volvo's brakes, I don't know what is... Who can say where the road goes?

No, I think Volvo's are pretty reliable. Now I think they were testing an auto braking feature, but I am not sure if it has come to market yet.

That reaction by him is perfect. "No need to thank me for saving your life"

Junior edition Volvo truck looks better than the god awful Monte Carlo's that Chevy put out on the road.

It was more of a minuscule collision than a dodge. Watch how the car and truck bounce in unison when the little car's bumper slides under the truck's. Good Volvo brakes, though. The driver was clearly in no mood to kill a little old lady that day (at least, not with his truck).

Cool story bro!

We'll we can tell from some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few shops in our time.

"Hack"?
