Makes sense. He did wonders for Mazda, and has been doing the same for Ford for years. Glad to see his career is taking him even farther.

They knew about this problem. They knew that it had killed people. They did nothing. Do you agree with those assertions?
Agreed - Can't believe it was beaten out by the FT-86 twins. Nothing is more old school sports car than British roadster-style Miatas. Harking back to "coupes from the '80s and '90s", is hardly top ten"old-school." I imagine author was born in the 90s and thinks anything pre-2000 is "old-school."
The Cobalt/G5 was already one of the least valuable car on the used market, I doubt it changed anything.
Have you driven one? Sure it vastly exceeds the Cavalier it replaced, but the Cavalier was such a shitty car that it really didn't take much effort to surpass it and the Cobalt shows it in every way. Still cheap, still slow, still uncomfortable...just less so than the Cavalier
I don't think getting angry about a company not fixing a problem that they knew would kill people (and did kill people) is over dramatic.
I honestly cannot fathom how different car culture is in China. Like, I can't wrap my mind around it. Young people buy Buicks? People buy Buicks?
I like everything about this truck, right down to that righteous component stereo, but all that's obscured by a thick cloud of crack smoke coming off that $55K price.
For that price you could have a New F-150 with a turbo motor. All the turbo none of the 80's
Billet knobs and a hot summer day. Woohoo!
Beautiful truck, but for that price couldn't I get two V6 Mustangs? CP all the way
This does little for me. CP for sure.
It certainly has made me more emotional. I am at once depressed, revolted, and nauseated. I can't believe this is the same company that gave us the 1st & 2nd Gen MR2, Celica's of the 90's, and the Holy Grail we call "Supra." I remember a time when I looked at Toyota's lineup of cars and trucks (including Tacoma,…
Nah, it was useful back when manufacturing issues and malfunctions dominated the results, but now that those are pretty much in check it's more of a measure of familiarity than what most people think of 'quality'. The fact that a CVT acting differently than a torque converter or the window switches being in the…
Yeah, but the JD Power IQS is a crock of nonsense. It basically rewards boring, familiar vehicles.
Hey now! Don't blame only the Dodges. I already have a trademark pending on "Sebring Panel."
Why does Toyota even bother?
Not at present (typing this on my phone) but wee would have to compare available features, critical opinions on interior, drivability, and value for money. I am confident if we were to do a full analysis to compare and contrast these three cars that the Mazda would come out on top.
Nothing, outside of marriage and love, would make me happier than to see Toyota's strategy blow up in their faces. Ford and Mazda are blowing them out of the water in regards to quality and value, so I can't wait to see what they'll offer.
So... is Bane responsible for this new trend in grills?
