Also fake rear air diffusers.
• Fake Grilles (like the Focus up top).
• Fake Exhaust Tips , everyone is guilty of this one. From Rolls Royce & Bentley to Toyota & Hyundai.
• Integrated Exhaust Tips.
• Faux Carbon Fiber.
• LEDs.
Fake plastic glass. No one's fooled, we all know it's part of the c-pillar, you just covered it in cheap looking black plastic instead of nice shiny paint.
Yes.
Given the crap hardware and materials I saw in my '09 Corvette (GM's "halo car"), I'm sadly not surprised to hear about this.
It's far too convenient. Hmmmm 300+ crashes that resulted in fatalities where the airbag didn't go off in a vehicle now known for having faulty ignitions that would cause lack of airbag deployment.
Happened to my girlfriend at the beginning of February. She was driving on the highway and the car just shut off. No one was able to tell us why this happened. A couple of days later the recall scandal popped up. Today the recall letter came. She has the car key, a house key and a ring. Sometimes companies are meant…
It *is* the Colorado/Canyon, same truck we're getting here for the 2015 model year, it's been on sale since 2011.
Wish American still had an all American Fleet. I suppose I understand the need to diversify suppliers, but I enjoyed them being a pure Boeing fleet.
I love Duesenberg. I also wouldn't ever want to see Duesenberg brought back. There simply isn't any way that it ever can be. Outside of a small subset of enthusiasts, it has no brand image or cachet. It's hard to go from a car that was the most luxurious and beautiful in the world in the 1930s to a car that is the…
I remember being at a drag strip with my cousin who was racing at the time when that movie came out. He didn't have many nice things to say about the ricer kids who were ruining drag racing for him because they thought the movie was real.
B-but...danger to manifold is real!
It's a lesser of two evils. I would rather have substituted cars than CGI. The producers of the Need for Speed movie are very proud that they used no computer effects while making the movie, so they have to find another way to keep costs down.
That's GM quality right there. They can design some great performance cars, but the build quality is terrible.
God damn, what's next?
Do you really think NFS wants to be taken as a serious movie? come on man they hired 1 decent actor that is known for saying bitch all the time and threw all the rest into racing cars. There is no way anyone would take this seriously anyone who read the script was like "LOL WHAT? ...but i get to drive awesome cars…
I loved that movie so much I bought the action figure.
Agreed. A [paraphrased] quote I saw recently: "Negative criticism of movies often seems to boil down to, 'I bought this frog and wish it was a puppy. This frog sucks.'"
Tell you wut, chicken butt.
...but the movie is based on the video game, it would be like if the resident evil movie didn't have zombies. It's like getting upset at the tomb raider movie for having lara coft in it :P lol. Your review is like: "I find it stupid that a movie based on a video game about street racing and running from the cops in…
