It looks like someone stuck Taurus headlights on a Focus ST, and crammed an obnoxiously-large Mercedes emblem and crossbar garnish in the grille area. And not in a good way.

I guess you were aimin’ to misbehave?
Shiny! Have a star.
Yes, thanks! Kinja/Nibbles ate my image.
Thanks, Nibbles/Kinja ate my close-up Spaceball photo.
1: I’ve heard of it, but there’s so much surface area to treat it makes the leather/synthetic coverings a breeze in comparison.
Oh, yeah, the Spyker setup is cool, so I guess I should have clarified “covered” shifters, since it’s all exposed.
Mr. BoxRocket. Mrs. BoxRocket drives a CX-5, and I taught her how to drive stick
Only if it’s shitting a brick.
Pretty sure that the blue police car you identified as a 9C1 is actually a Crown Vic. The headlights are too short to be a Caprice, and the shape is the more slab-sided CV than the flattened-oval-on-wheels shape of the Caprice.
Did you even read the first sentence, or just jump down to the comments?
You didn’t read the very first sentence in the first paragraph, did you?
Fact: The best non-gated manual shifter setup is the Volvo “Spaceball” on the S60R and V70R starting in the mid-’00s.
So, was the design team behind the controller ALSO “inspired” by Dieter Rams’ Brauhn works? I say also because that’s where jonny ive (apple’s lead designer) got the “inspiration” for the ipod, which, uh, looks almost exactly like this controller, which also looks like some of Rams’ earlier mid-century works.
I should have clarified, I mean from the factory. They are the more or less the same engine but it’s mounted longitudinally in the 124 and transversely in the 500. Longer pipes on the 124, too, due to length of the car.
The fact that the 124 Abarth Spider (aka “Fiata”) doesn’t sound exactly like the 500 Abarth is a recurring source of disappointment. It can get close, but not quite there. Silly physics.
The Sequoia feels like a bus.
A Fiat 500 Abarth can and will make you giggle like an idiot from its exhaust note alone.
Mostly better than the crap GM’s been spewing out lately (except Buick admittedly). Bland aggregate hodgepodge collages are better than deliberately offensive/polarizing stuff (looking at you, Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Acura, chevy, etc.).
Why not both?
