I’m pretty excited about the new XC40. Volvo’s one of the European underdogs against the well-regarded and popular Germans. Their newest wares under Geely’s ownership have been excellent, and the XC40 looks to continue that trend.
...that CarMax is carrying the Ford Focus RS.
Some of these look stunning. Hopes for the NE or a facelifted ND.
Not the biggest fan of these cars, honestly. I appreciate their performance, but I’ve been less-and-less enamored with M-B over the years, especially after what they did to Chrysler. However, McLaren was involved, and it catalyzed them to make road cars again, so that’s something.

Does anyone follow Motor Trend’s “______ of the Year”? Previous years felt more like either lame advertisements, or halo/hero car worship (PT Cruiser, Thunderbird - though I liked it a lot - VW Beetle, Chevy Volt).
...if only because this election is over, and we can learn from our mistakes, and do better next time. Also, the Presidency has its own checks and balances, it’s not a dictatorship, and reality can bite hard.

I’ve more or less dismissed Motor Trend as a publication, and have held them in great disdain for a number of years now. Their annual “Of The Year” awards have been especially infuriating.
