That’s pretty excessively hateful. What about cease and desist of using Eleanor name and badging but they could just make it a 1967 Mustang. Of course, the obvious elephant in the room is WTF would someone want to put a 1967 Mustang body on top of a 2015 Mustang. Restomods are stupid.

I could only hope it gets revised... I just have little faith in Nissan at this point.

Except that most of those vents have sheet metal behind them. The fact is, the Supra is fucking ugly and those fake vents are stupid.

Nothing a little vinyl wrap can’t fix... but no doubt there will be a package that costs an additional $1000 to get the chrome delete option... called Night, Dark, Black or some combination of that.

came here to say this, everyone seems to forget that the mk iv supra was based on the lc lexus chasis.  the supra was never a pure sports car

LC500 says hi. The I6 is, IMHO, not necessary for a Supra.

A quick shot of the rear seems to be showing a cam back, like the original 240z. Not rounded like the 370.

You won’t hear me sing the praises of Nissan often BUT that actually looks kinda promising. I bet someone will have a render by this afternoon. Read more

You’re assuming it’s merit based when it’s probably just powerful awful people having each other’s backs.

Im for EV takover...if we can get the batteries worked out. Electric motors are the biz...but batteries suck.

You have perfectly summed up the problem with auto manufacturers today. They aren't making c as rs for real world use anymore. Big ugly and expensive and supposedly more power you will never use.

You are describing a new 370Z or a low mileage Cayman S, both of which are cars that will never be cross-shopped with a camaro. I agree with you 100% on the pointlessness of this car and in wanting the same thing, though I think we just need to accept that cars like this were never meant to appeal to us.

Handling is everything! I once owned a 1991 Mini Cooper - the original 1960s style body, 1.3l engine, 60 hp, 0-60 in 11 seconds, but handled like a go kart. It was enormous fun, especially on twisty roads. I would take that over this dumb 630 hp monster any day.
