I like that I am forced to “git gud.” If there were an easy mode, at some point I’d probably give in and end up using it. I like that I don’t have the option. I imagine it’s similar for other players.

Certain games are intended to be consumed by certain gamers. The simple presence of an easy mode in Sekiro (or other Soulsborne games) would negatively impact the experience of the people who enjoy those games.
