The community discussion on where the line should be drawn for glitches has been ongoing since speedrunning first became a thing. Ultimately, the solution has been a sort of self-correction: if there’s enough interest in a category (e.g. no glitch, no skip), someone will run that category.

Sure, if “by the end” you mean “I, too, put hundreds of hours into this game but for some reason want to bash it.”
