Exactly. Don’t DQ the driver because the race rules are phrased inadequately to cover the situation. Let him have his podium finish this time and then rewrite your rules to cover exactly what you want for the next race. Chalk it up as a learning experience.

Seems pretty dumb to haul an entire fan boat around just in the event that they happen to run out of gas. They probably could have made it to the gas station if they hadn’t been hauling a fan boat around to begin with. Dummies.

I’d rather they charged officer dipshit. You know the guy crossing an unpaved median, traveling at more than double the speed limit and passing on the shoulder. No amount of training in the world made that safe.

the problem is they already gave him the free shit, which he didn’t want.

Lets put it this way, you can buy a Ferrari from the same year with fewer miles for less than that.

$100K for a fucking Dodge Neon?

Well.... Second to the guy asking 100k for a Dodge neon.

I know what I’ve got! No Low Ballers!

Pretty easy to tell the REAL advantage of this in the before and after, where in the after you can no longer see that metal “ridge” (Im guessing a seam joint?) in the intake port.

While there are many things that aren’t my cuppa, I’m down for most anything automotive until is ceases to be able to perform the most basic function of its existence. This goes for bro-dozers so jacked up they are unusable as trucks just as much as it does for cars so stanced they can no longer drive on what appears

At the risk of sounding like my grandfather, there are some fads I just don’t get and this would be one of them. I mean, do you hate ball joints that much?

There is a whole lot of fail going on here, but...

“Arrested?” WTF? Was the driver under the influence? How is this not just a moving violation and a “yeah, you have to stop driving this rig immediately?”

Smell of propane leaking should be pretty damn obvious. Especially inside a car.

Doesn’t matter (legally). Current civil forfeiture laws in most states allow police to seize property they suspect of being involved in a crime and in many cases the burden of proof to get it back is placed on the victim of the seizure.

This sounds a lot like the kind of street racing behavior that gets innocent bystanders killed, and that Jalopnik usually takes pains to denounce.

What??? You expect me to actually read an article before commenting on it??!!!!

Just want a video from Phil’s point of view before he blows by the Honda

LESS THAN YOU CAN AFFORD, PAL

Oh look, the Aussie’s are seizing private property under a falsely perceived notion of increased public safety again.
