I went back and rewatched that monolog, just because I could, and yes it is fantastic. Andor is just amazing TV and Star Wars content.

Never made much sense to me not to do this from the start. People liked Daredevil on Netflix and were bummed it was cancelled.

A pity— She-Hulk was by far the Marvel TV series that I most enjoyed watching. It knew the kind of story it wanted to tell, it wasn’t laden down with the baggage of having to advance some sort of cross-property plotline, and Maslany was effortlessly charming in it. I can see how the CGI budget for it must have been…

Seriously. I considered the Special Editions and the Prequel Trilogy to be hugely disappointing, wrong-headed misfires which simply didn’t work as followups to the Movies I grew up with. Hating the next Star Wars trilogy is an intrinsic part of being a Star Wars fan.  

Well, the sequels WERE made and though they all kinda sucked for various reasons, what exactly is Star Wars to do?

Sadly, I think a lot of people are going to sleep on this with various excuses (“oh, MCU homework”, “oh it stars a woman how woke”, “subtitles no thank you”, “you mean I don’t have to do a bunch of MCU homework? So it doesn’t matter no thank you”), which is a shame because I thought this was an extremely effective…

They’ve made it part of the Defenders Saga (check the playlist!), so they probably thought it would be apropos to release it in the same way.
