I suppose it might be the official name, but I’m a little old-man grumpy about it being called “Disneyland California” here.

I watched sometime in 2021 and yes it does stand up. Just like this film, the charisma of the leads is incredible, plus a solid supporting cast.
Oh shit, sorry I misunderstood. Who the hell wears a crewneck like that?
I understand that I’m a white man approaching middle age, but I see nothing wrong with a merino v-neck over a button-down. Is this another thing I should feel uncool for liking?
He does have a great reputation as a good dude. As a restauranteur, he wasn’t/isn’t so great. As an avatar of the essence Food Network, he is perfect.
A friend of mine used to get every other Wednesday off and she said it was like having two Fridays on those weeks.
I can’t decide so here’s a grab bag of responses that dismiss your nonsense, just for you:
Just wondering why being a Nailed It contestant makes you an expert in any way about baking.
I have the same model! It was an absolute impulse buy while standing in the gadget area of the grocery store, and now I can’t get enough of my budget lattes.
Depending on how the second one goes I’m OK for him to finish out his career on Knives Out 10: Spoons, Too.
I have never seen it written about in the media, but my non-FSD Tesla running its adaptive cruise control can’t even handle a 2-lane highway without emergency braking whenever oncoming traffic makes it a little nervous. I would not trust a full robot drive from Tesla, and I don’t know how people do.
Can you give a source or two for that comment? I admit I haven’t read every thing that Gaiman has done but I’ve read a lot and haven’t noticed that.
Charter Way in Stockton, California is one of the scariest streets I’ve been on in any city, and I’ve been in a lot of rough neighborhoods. In about 2008 or so, Stockton decided that yup, Charter Way is the one that’ll get MLK’d. Then, they printed up “Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard” signs that take up an entire…
Same with Oregon. One time I was driving over-night to Seattle and of course we stopped for gas somewhere in the middle of nowhere Oregon, in the middle of the night. I just pull up to the pump and start doing my thing when this old dude comes running out. My girlfriend at the time thought I was going to get murdered.
Just gotta watch out unless you want Siracha and noodles with a little cheese flavor. My instinct is to just go ‘eff yeah Siracha’ and put too much in.
I have barely the slightest idea what you’re talking about and the replies on this thread are like Latin, but I am totally here for it.
That sort of situation taught me just how little fully locked brakes at 70 mph do. I just kind of sat there next to the oncoming semi-trailer sideswipe for an eternity while my tires decided to get a grip.
Every time I think about what I consider to be the best television shows ever made, I can’t really think of any that stick out except for Cowboy Bebop. Like, sure there are probably a couple that would hit higher on the list depending on when you ask me, but Bebop has been Top 3 for twenty years for me.
I love getting actual breakfast at a restaurant on a weekend just as they’re opening at 9, maybe after hitting the farmer’s market before that place fills up too. There’s usually no one else around and everything feels kind of fresh and ready for the brunch rush.
For the record I’ve seen Harley trikes lane splitting. Where’s a will (and a sense of entitlement) there’s a way.
