I just got a new food processor and being a nerd I read the whole manual. No, you actually use the cutting blade for pie crust. The plastic blade is apparently for gluten development; this of course means I will probably never use the plastic blade because I already have a dough hook for my kitchenaid.

So, I mentioned my issues to a buddy and he said it wasn’t problem for him. My buggy performance has been reproduced enough for a few blogs to mention it, but I think I’m going to look into driver updates.  It’s entirely possible it’s my problem on my end.

Keep an eye out for updates before you get the HOTAS running. Squadrons is not functional with a HOTAS at the moment. As in, a bug might prevent you from getting past the first mission. They promised more than they accomplished in that case. That said, it’s still tons of fun with a gamepad!
