All “run of the mill pilots” ARE officers.
All “run of the mill pilots” ARE officers.
That does seem entirely possible. I’d also accept Congressional meddling makes us buy both regardless of what the military wants. In a bad, but not hopelessly broken world, maybe we buy the LCS from Lockheed, and have Austal build some more cool catamaran fast ferry things (I have no idea about the military value of…
It doesn’t matter if it’s Art History or another programme. The basics of an university education show at least, and more often than not, better decision making, rhetoric and discourse. More often than not (repeated emphasis), someone with an university degree is more mature and has a better understanding than someone…
I would hope that competition between the two builders for the remainder of the order would result in strong price competition, and if they are still going to build 40 total, that’s an increase in the number of hulls for the winning bidder vs. getting half of a 52 ship run. I don’t have that much faith in our…
More and more I realize that the only hands I trust to work on my car are the ones currently attached to my arms.
It says in the forum post he was sent a cheque from Valvoline to cover the $1400+ bill of repair from the Audi dealer. Sounds like the shop admitted to the mess up. That tech who did that though, I hope he never touches another car again...
Lowest rated F150 payload is 1,500 lbs, that’s for a single cab model. A supercrew Platinum starts at 2,100 lbs.
I don’t think that’s correct. Most midsized cars have payload limits of about 1,000 lbs. or so, full size trucks can have more than double that. Even at their lowest payload spec, I can’t think of a full size truck that is lower than your typical midsized car.
Kind of a no-brainer. The efficiency improvements could make a huge dent in the CAFE requirements. Sure, some could pull the “Ain’t gonna have no ‘lectric stuff in my truck” bit, just as Chevy plays the “aluminum = beer cans” angle. But as Ford has discovered, truck buyers will go for a turbo 6 over a V-8, they’ll buy…
The Houston Press did mention that he divorced his ex-wife in June. Other outlets mention that he’d been with his current girlfriend for a year and a half. You can, uh, do the math on that one.
I read Rubio’s answer as “The submarines are the most critical of the three, but the other two are aging badly as well” from the way he phrased it, but maybe that’s just me.
Ha! Thank you for that tasty morsel of goodness. Did not know that, but it’s hardly surprising; it’s the kind of stuff douchebag assholes do.
...This is not a game.
Sort of off topic, but the lead image is what made me think of it... For me, one of the worst parts of Trump, is the level of disdain and annoyance he shows to anyone saying anything he doesn’t like.
Read the Houston Press article, he got a divorce in like July and he is already asking someone to marry him. It is HILARIOUS. The whole thing is absolutely ridiculous. He also told her to get her nails done because they were going to that Black and White ball, dude seems like a pretty huge douche bag.
This is not love. This is an example of how dumb men compete with each other. These absurd grand gestures are really more to show off to other men. “I proposed outside her office at work!”
and the sad part is once the lovey-dovey stuff wears off, she’ll get tired of his immature bullshit and they’ll be splitsville within a couple of years.
Instead, eight cars full of friends and family followed Valladares Navas and Wycoff to the spot near the junction of I-45 and I-10.
So despite being a thoroughly updated DOHC V8 with all this fancy technology it just matches the ratings of the same displacement OHV Hemi that hasnt really been updated since the 2009MY and loses power and probably mileage to GM’s old LS based 6.2 let alone the newer LT based 6.2?
