I guess you dont remember Tom Gamboa being attacked by 2 drunk assholes in Chicago. I have no sympathy for people running on the field, whether they eat turf under the knee of some security guy or get arrested and have a criminal record forever. I dont think anyone is unclear about the consequences anymore, so if they

So fresh and original - love it.

Just pointing out the absurdity of getting into an argument around whether or not the arbitrator got it right.

I do read, actually. For instance, in the text I quoted there's a comma after "collector," not a period as you seem to think. As in "collector" is part of a list of several things about which Braun and his people learned that made them question the validity of the test. Including the collector's role in interpreting

i like the cut of your jib, but might i suggest the privatization of vanity plates? third party company out to turn a buck isn't going to particularly care about good taste, they'll cost more so maybe people will put a bit more thought into them, and no one needs soil their car with adhesives or clings or what have

In 2010 the Library of Congress announced it was going to archive every public tweet ever for posterity. Because they were open and honest about what they were doing it drew little skepticism. Granted, it's not a deep intrusion, but it was retroactive; something users weren't anticipating when they tweeted in 2009.

Or we can ALL just start wearing ankle bracelets and save the tax payers a whole bunch-a dough. I completely agree with you here, BTW.

Again, Vic, read the story. This is a program where they ARE turning over data to private companies, in some cases, where there's no government oversight at all. You don't see anything questionable about that?

I've been worried about these automated plate readers for years. People will argue that you don't have a reasonable expectation of privacy on the roads, which is true, but I resent the idea of the government effectively tracking my every move. Previously the police could tail you if they wanted to track your

I think you're overstating the point of the stories about his past. He fell off of other teams' draft boards because of potential character issues. That doesn't mean other teams thought he would murder somebody (necessarily). It means that they thought that those character issues would result in criminal activity
