Unfortunately purgatory was the most they could achieve.

This is the most late aughts car I can imagine. It has very certainly aged.
You’re right, the C5 hasn’t aged a day.
Boomer Corvette owner here. FFS, we don’t all have shitty taste in wheels. The general rule is if your car is old enough to have chrome bumpers and trim, chrome wheels are acceptable. Otherwise, they look ridiculous.
Most are hood rides bro, runs in for blunt wrap leaves challenger running with keys in it
I may sound a little judgmental but i believe i see more Chrysler products in less affluent areas. Areas which likely have a higher frequency of theft.
I’m sure its not the only reason though. For example, if i was to steal a car, i’d likely pick something fast and inconspicuous. A V8 Charger fits the bill nicely.
THERE WAS NO TIME. NEEDED TO BE THE FIRST TO SCOOP THAT MOTOR 1 SCOOPED THIS.
Those tires are also constructed much differently than a street tire. This is an absurd comparison.
And as you said, these are mandated, not chosen by the teams for ultimate performance.
Big wheels are a necessity because people keep buying huge cars with huge wheel wells. Stop buying stupid and bad cars.
At least she’s descent looking. Not a toothless crack whore. Can you get stains out of leather?
“Hey let’s make this awesome RWD platform and put an awesome engine in it and awesome suspension bits and then let’s make it ugly and impossible to see out of it and when it doesn’t sell we can just make it ugly in a slightly different way but it’ll still be impossible to see out of and nobody will want one” is an…
Especially for someone who works with Cox.
“Charlie Chesbrough, senior economist for Cox Automotive, told AutoNews that he has a working hypothesis. Mainly, it costs more to buy a car these days, and it’s tough to borrow the money to do it. It’s pretty tough to sell to a market that doesn’t have the means to buy.”
How the hell can anyone think this looks good? It looks like someone tried to create a mix of Maybach and Rolls Royce based only on descriptions because they’ve never seen either car themselves, and then that design was stolen and knocked off by a Chinese startup.
...with Cadillac headlights...
That’s a weird-looking Chrysler 300...
GTAV has better looking sedans. Pass.
This is all BS. Human eyes can see under starlight alone. The use of extremely bright headlamps destroys night vision and the “adaptive” lamps aren’t going to fix that. It’s marketing and profit seeking to convince people they need what is rarely required.
Also, the “hello” is backwards in the image.
Am I the only one that feels like “traditional” consoles are becoming increasingly difficult to justify? We’ve gotten to the point where we are essentially dealing with branded PCs; a gaming rig with a Sony or Microsoft logo slapped on it. The line between console and PC is extremely blurry at this point, the only…
It’s hilarious how people feel the need to remind everyone of the comparatively worse discrimination of older times whenever saying anything even remotely good about those times.
