This blog post quotes a very interesting take from the head of PBRB.

Speaking of fire sales...this was expedited and no one was informed.

I always kinda figured this was the inevitable end to the kind of politics they play. I’m pleased it happened in my lifetime.

-looks at my 45 pounds of big droopy hound dog- oh thank god.

He goes to Mar a Lago every year for Christmas. I expect him to go (sans Melania whom I figure will head to NYC) and not come back to DC after the electoral college votes. He will sulk until the inauguration and probably hold some dumb rally in Florida.

Honestly, as someone who likes a lot of greenery for Christmas, I don’t hate it? Just kinda seems really bland and uninspired, but not terrible. I kinda expect her to take Barron to NYC during Christmas and not come back. Kinda figure the divorce papers will appear sometime around February/March.

Same here. I attend a Jesuit parish on the west coast, and we did Easter via streaming in the spring. They were able to do some in person masses (people had to register, it was a long process) in the summer, but we’ve switched back to all virtual again with the numbers being so high. It’s not perfect, but neither is

I’m disabled too, and this is why I LOVE Call the Midwife. There’s so much disability representation there and it isn’t always these giant tragic stories.

I’ve wondered this too. It’s gone on for so long and to a point that it seems unhealthy. Maddie is talented, but I feel like she should be doing lots of creative things rather than playing the muse for this one artist through her entire creative development.

Ooohhh real tree question! I want a real one this year (cause lockdown), but we usually keep our tree up through epiphany. When’s the earliest I can get it for it to last until January 6?

I would have found this hilarious ten years ago, but now I’m just tired.

I have a sister in the same situation. We know she’s been involved in the deaths of two people she called “friends” but there’s nothing legally there to take action. We have been able to keep her kids from her, but it doesn’t stop her from constantly trying to have more babies. The last time I talked to her, I

My partner says you can always tell when trump has given up on something by the fact that he puts Giuliani in charge of it.

Yes, not enough to change election results though. It happened in a few states in 2016, and there are stiff penalties now on states that send faithless electors.

Trump’s inevitable TV network...

Just a giant reminder to everyone, Trump is not required to concede. It’s considered a tradition and the right thing to do, but his refusing to do so will not change the result (it’ll mostly make him look like a giant sore loser). We will do the recounts (which historically tend to make the outcome even more

I keep crying randomly. Like I’ll be fine, and remember the last four years in a rush and then just bawl. The sense of relief comes with tears and tears and tears.

The wild part is my mom is ADAMANT about masks and COVID prevention. She and my dad hardcore quarantined over it and don’t leave the house without masks. She’s terrified of getting it.

Wow, all y’all’s boomer parents voted Biden? My trump supporting boomer mom is pissed off because I told her she’s a hypocrite for demanding everyone be kind to her “no matter who she voted for” while also voting for and supporting one of the vilest men to have ever ran for the office.
