I feel like quality has hit a wall in the upper echelons of the Hyundai / Kia range. Just as the G90 isn’t really that much nicer than the prior generation Equus, this doesn’t really seem to move the needle relative its predecessor.

It must be excruciating to pilot something that takes a long time to respond to your inputs when you’re in the middle of a mishap.
i3 REx is a range extended EV.
A distinction without a difference imo. The point is that they’re all unambiguously electric.
Isn’t this what a lot of them are doing? BMW “i” and Mercedes “EQ” etc?
Actually I believe they were two 5.0 V8s from their car lines. It was basically a publicity stunt they pulled around the time the LC 500 launched.
Spindle, dad. You don’t see an ugly spindle grille.
Sell the C-Class, use the proceeds to keep the RL -A Cool Car- on the road.
Pathfinder, I think.
Google: “Let a man dream!”
The door brows are killing me.
I’m not saying there’s a design doctrine that forces a resemblance (as you say, that’s true of all car brands), I’m saying that it is obvious from sitting in the two that they are reskins of a common product. You are free to disagree.
True. But even if you miss the Ford connection, the MKZ and Continental are pretty blatantly related. This was more my point, and it doesn’t take a trained eye to see it.
I personally find the thing appalling, but there’s no reason why they shouldn’t put all their focus on the Navigator. And leave volume to the MKC/X.
Oh. Oh... Well, at least they made the right choice. But surely they realized that this was the chief criticism of the last gen car?
I think this is a fab car. And it’s significantly more attractive / appealing than the standard Prius. Get the base model (and you really want to keep the price proportional to its EV capabilities) and you don’t even have to deal with the stupid, big screen - you get a stupid, little screen instead.
The motion is dismissed.
Very true. Although the engine has been in development (openly) for a while and the AM-MB relationship began in 2013. The CEO commenting on his first drive of the CLS gives no real indication as to the extent to which their development side has studied the subject.
