I am totally in love with the idea of a two door Range Rover. Makes me wonder what might have been had Land Rover taken a similar tack to Mercedes and just pushed and prodded the 70s Range Rover into quasi-modernity.
Were they not the segment leaders? As I say, I do not dispute that they lost market share. I take issue with the notion that there is a direct causal relationship between degree of grille spindleness and lost market share.
