I still don’t understand why stealing when down by a lot is considered bad form. Small ball tactics are probably a decent way to instigate a rally, and teams do occasionally come back from big defecits.  If you’re so offended, throw him out at second.

I find it baffling the AFC and NFC just don’t go to 2 big divisions respectively. Play every other team in your league once, 15 games, +1 rivalry/cross league game.  It makes too much sense.

Royals pitchers have been getting roughed up this year as well. Lots of blown games early on. So likely, also some simmering frustration due to that.  That’s not a good reason either, I will admit.

have to agree, “are you willing to lose this house in 20 years or spend incredible amounts of money protecting against sea level rise?”has to be a prime consideration.

As a younger person, My roomates and I named our wifi “Stop Stealing our F$%#ing Internet”, because a neighbor kept making repeated attempts to do just that.

The man voluntarily signed a deal that is conservative, gives him guaranteed money through the majority of his career.  It also means he knows where he’s playing indefinitely.  Maybe that was important to him.  His agent probably told him he’s an idiot, but he’s entitled to make that decision.

I did enjoy that episode. There’s nothing wrong with being a professional waiter to make ends meet, but the cost of college should not be a hindrance for a young person to pursue their full potential.

Doesn’t workplace comp provide some support to those players that got injured regardless of whether the company is solvent or not?

I appreciate the time and money and love the guy put into this, but man hours and customization don’t necessarily translate into increased value.

Am I wrong for being concerned about those massive fuel tanks being damaged by a constant barrage of gravel being flung up into the undercarriage?  The entire purpose of that vehicle is for a rural life on the backroads, and having those exposed right behind the wheel doesn’t seem smart.
