“Hey you, wait a minute. You only have four legs.”

It is my strong suspicion that we get the show we deserve.

What is this, a costume for ants?!

Ant-Man will give us a glimpse of a different era of S.H.I.E.L.D., one between the events of Agent Carter and Iron Man. We’ll get flashbacks to 1980s-era S.H.I.E.L.D. (with at least one familiar face) and get a taste of Hank Pym’s notorious temper.

It bears mentioning that while the political system and army of the Empire seem very Nazi Germany, the Imperial Navy is almost certainly inspired by the Imperial Japanese Navy.

1) Lucas was inspired by WWII action films in developing Star Wars’ space battles. Since the Empire doesn’t rely on space-submarine warfare, it

Vader represents Hitler? I just don’t see it. Palpatine is a better analog for Hitler, with Vader being more like Himmler.

I’ll just file this under “zero”... for the number of fucks I give.

Ahhh, I missed that. Thanks!

I don’t think the raid was random. She said something to her sister along the lines of “I led this op because I had heard a rumor” which I took to mean was a rumor about her sister working there. I did find the serving papers leading to character development by way of conversation with father a little too convenient

Make Thundarr the Barbarian instead! Real missed opportunity to not make it after that comet destroyed civilization back in 1994.

Yeah, GoT could really benefit from having a larger episode count each season.

He has to be there, because he is her father on Earth. He and Helen Slater are the parents of her sister, as well. We’re scientists, so we’ll be able to interject things here and there. It’s going to be fun.

Well, the first point is moot- it’s the second phase, so being the first non- team up movie to end one is irrelevant.

Fact is that Ant Man is the first non-team up movie to end end one of thier “phases”

You know what though? Why NOT show Ant-man on IM’s shoulder? He’s a part of the MCU going forward. Why WOULDN”T they use the faceplate as a frame of reference for those who don’t knwo they are connected? Makes sense to help the normals link it to the MCU...and not just comic fans who know they are linked. Makes

I like the pose, but the shadow across her face (why?) and the super piercing lens flare make it look cheap. It wasn’t the idea of the poster I’m not fond of, but the execution. It’s sort of a poster I’d expect before Supergirl was actually cast.

The shot makes me think of some weird crossover between Californication and Hannibal. Not a bad thing, mind you.

This is... not a great poster.
