"American's Greatest"? The ME412 would have been the new benchmark for at least 10 years that would shame most or all the supercars out there now in one way or another, mostly just by being the faster car.

It looks like a '67 - '68 Mustang fastback fitted with a strange front end.

The side profile is pure '67 Mustang though.

The problem here is the "blocked" off part of the grill, if this were entirely open like the '71 GTX, the whole front end would look a lot nicer. Oh, and that horse is silly, replace it with a lion or a bear...or a moose.

It's richly muscle-flavored, but shape wise, I mostly see Mustang.

YEAH BUT COULD IT BEAT THIS?!?!!

Mulsanne owners need not worry, this bunch of jokers will build an aftermarket convertible from anything. Check out their Cayenne convertible.

Completely agree that the Vehicross has aged extremely well. I love those things!

Hey, it made it into 'Mission To Mars' ... So it got more screen time than most cars!

My brother test drove a Vehicross in '01 before getting a Mazda Tribute...the fool! I loved the Vehicross (still do), and when you see them now they are clearly extremely well-loved cars because they all look immaculate. When I saw them at the time, I predicted they would age extremely well and I think I've been

Disturbing, you say?

From air cooled to water cooled in 3 seconds flat

That driver did it right. He knew he was too fast too late and broke hard in a STRAIGHT line. That's how you know this guy is a good driver.

Yep, that's why the LSX is the number one drop in crate motor, why much of Formula Drift uses them instead of the JDM engines they usually run in their JDM cars, and why the SSC Ultimate Aero and Hennessey Venom GT uses them to both go faster than a 16 cylinder quad turbo Veyron. Are LS engines highly advanced with

Welllll I guess its subjective. There are 100k mi junkyard ls based motors making 1000hp out there. It is a good (strong) motor if not refined or advanced. The ecotec 4 bangers are extremely reliable as well and they are up to snuff on the technology front. I'm not a hardcore GM lover but to say they all break down...

Prisoner 1- Hey man how did you get in this joint?

That's not just a Jalopnik sticker...that JALOPNIK GOLD!!

No one cares that you don't like NASCAR. Lot's of people don't like NASCAR. It doesn't make you special.

I know this is a going to be an unpopular answer since apparently it was a cinematic masterpiece, but I stand by my decision to post it: Drive. I hated that movie. I was misled. From the commercials it was marketed as if it was action packed, constantly showing what looked like an exciting Mustang Charger chase.
