Surprised to see no one mentioning this: I think Ethan blacked out and lost time. He was in the pool, the camera fades to black, then he’s in his room with the others banging at the door. I think that time jump make be hiding something important.

We got to see the more human and real side of Valentina this episode and that she’s turning out to be the most relatable person here. That she’s just seemingly so far overworked, stressed, and unappreciated; everyone, between the locals to the hotel guests are just a pest to her and not worth it, as she would rather

Yes?

The show seems to be implying that the kids spent a lot of quality time with Ser Criston Cole, which admittedly would fuck up almost anyone.

We needed a few more shots of his club foot to really understand it, so I’m still confused.

After giving it much thought, I’ve come to the conclusion that Ser Criston might have an anger issue.

Warrior Nun was way more fun than it had any right to be. I’m glad it didn’t get swallowed by the black hole of Covid.

K.E.V.I.N. Can Feige Himself

I admire Jessica Gao’s restraint in not titling this episode “KEVIN Can F**k Himself.”

It particularly doesn’t look right given the babyfaced guy they cast as Aegon, who looks at least 10 years younger than his younger brother.

It’s goofy, especially with how young Rhaenyra’s kids look.

Definitely not alone. The time jumps have led to all sorts of weird age questions with the changes in casting but that is one of the more egregious.

Am I the only one who thinks the casting for Aemond was really off? It looks like he’s in his mid-30s while everyone else has aged appropriately. Kind of reminds me of SNL sketches where they use whoever is around to fill in roles resulting in some characters looking wildly older than others for humorous effect.

Last week’s episode is still better, but this one was solid. Yet another time jump meant yet another disorienting first Act, as I reacclimate myself with who’s who of the new cast (while continuing to be amused at how age works on this show... Suddenly Aemond looks older than Aegon, and Criston Cole has got to be from

I feel like Luke really didn’t mean to slight Aemond (just reminiscing about a joke when they were younger), and if Aemond weren’t such a wormy psychopath, he could’ve been the bigger man and laughed along with him.

Instead of doing tacos for the technical, they should’ve just done tortillas. Give the bakers like 20 minutes. Having to cook steak and make pico de gall-o (as basically everyone pronounced it) was bizarre.

Henry Golding is 35, conveniently

it really, really did. Watching this after an episode of Rings of Power, with it’s gorgeous night scenes, is gettin rough for House of the Dragon

I am very much liking EmmaD’Arcy. She has such a unique look but even better she commands the screen and says so much without saying a word.

what NOPE did to advance day for night cinematography, House of the Dragon just set it back 10x more. This episode looked fucking dreadful
