That snowy lane median can be scary as hell. If I want to pass someone, the idea of crossing that thing factors in, and if it looks gnarly enough, I just go, “Nah, I’m fine going ten under what I’d normally do in these conditions.”

Bravo - when in doubt, power out!
I’ve told the story before, I attribute this much to skill but luck definitely played a factor.
Yes, Chef.
Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. Its latest facelift is ugly and from the A-pillar back it’s been basically the same car for a decade. The European version, the ASX, was replaced for the 2023 model year in that market based on a Renault, but I think we’re stuck with the same old car here in the States.
I said whoever blocked this merger, your mom’s a ho.
Right? Shepard’s no xenophobe; she left Ashley on Virmire and saved the council. I agree that ME2 had a fantastic intro but the author clearly played an entirely different game than I did!
Yeah, I was hoping to see that pricing too. Probably at least $5k more, possibly up to $10k.
Many, many good ones here. I’ll be more specific with the “large vehicle” thing: a full-size truck parked on the inside corner of a turn in a tight parking lot. There’s an aisle for two way traffic but this guy sticking out almost a foot past the rest of the parked vehicles makes it 1.) a single-vehicle corner and 2.)…
Yeah, I hate backing out of spots, moreso every year with the larger vehicles on the road. I’ll pull through whenever I can, but if I see someone else angling for the spot as I’m midway up, I’ll give the friendly “oops” wave and back up into the first spot, leaving it for them.
I picked up Moonglow Bay last night, $12.50 down from $25, enjoying it so far.
You’ve more or less described how Hyundai currently uses the paddles in EVs - it’s three levels of regen (+ off). It doesn’t reset on straights, though, that’d be interesting.
The podcast I do awarded Game of the Year as a tie between Elden Ring and Warhammer 40,000 Darktide. I informed our audience that FromSoftware was honored to receive the recognition but were not comfortable accepting it in person, citing security concerns. We were very understanding.
A wash kit. Like five or six different Armor All products in one box. I don’t wash my car as often as I should but at least now when I do I can be a little more thorough about it.
Oh FFS, summarize the findings or don’t bother.
Yeah, and as I said, Hyundai-Kia is *way* too low - anyone placing them that far down the list has not been paying attention to the market this year. I don’t buy these results.
These results look very, very weird - with Hyundai-Kia-Genesis so damn low when they’re arguably the (non-Tesla) market leader starting this year.
Yeah, maybe it’s just from running Special Transport missions in trucksim but with a load like that I would have expected an escort and right-of-way... and, you know, access to train schedules. Negligence on someone’s part, for sure.
Yeah, it’s why I’m still conflicted on it. I’m generally antitrust and there are many mergers that shouldn’t have gone through in recent years but did. Activision needs new leadership and it’s clear that won’t happen until someone pays enough money to give Kotick & Co. the boot. I fall on the side of wanting it to…
Is the “column shifter” like the IONIQ vehicles, a stick with a twiddly knob like windshield wiper speed adjustment?
