@Xoom-Boy: Best information-related comment on this story, imo. And from an actual Xoom owner.

@badasscat: True. I was an iPhone user myself on a 3G and 3GS before I made the switch. I know Android is outselling iOS. My point was that you take an average consumer who just wants a tablet, they will more than likely go for the Apple product due to its ease of use, popularity, and it does everything they want.

So THIS is why people dont want Government healthcare.

Though clearly a nutjob, I still think he knows how to party better than anyone else. He needs to consult on MTV's Sweet Sixteen.

Great review. This touches on one of the biggest reasons that Apple is outselling everyone else in the phone/tablet market. Their iOS is dumbed down to make it easy for everyone to use, whereas Android is more for advanced users. I say advanced because Android likes to offer up capabilities that resemble desktop

I think we should edit him a few pounds heavier to be more accurate.

Because you can't see the spinners I put on it?

Time to start the rumors!

Like most have said, this seems like a watered-down attempt to jump back in front in regards to the tablet competition. In my opinion, if they would have included the HDMI dongle and the cover, it would have nabbed many more buyers. The technology is decent enough to maintain their market share over the next year,

Has no one heard of ThumbPlay??? Its on most iOS, Android, Blackberry, Mac, PC. Its like Rhapsody, but there is a bug in their system where you can keep creating 3 day trials, essentially making it a free service. Hell, you can even download songs to your device and listen offline. This would be in my top 5 of

@comodidit: Wow. Thanks for all the replies. Myself, I just watch Youtube and stream satelite radio via my work computer. So my phone rarely streams anything during the day. Sometimes I stream music via ThumbPlay, but its rare.

Honestly, how would someone use 2GB of data on a smartphone, aside from tethering? Most apps are around 4MB average, and that would equal around 500 apps per month to reach that cap.

Even if that option leaves people wanting, I would still love to have this phone. I was on AT&T for a couple years, and I dont recall using that functionality. Kudos to Verizon for improving their offerings to customers though. Hopefully this type of competition will steer cariers away from bragging about how far

Before anyone complains about the video's aspect ratio, just know that its the perfect format for filming subway rats.

@blyan is not on fire: Sadly, the reference has been done on previous posts. Equally as sad, I was called a troll 2 days ago. Im probably as close to getting a star as Steve Jobs is to bankruptcy.

@dnadeau13: True. It would qualify for a Giz post if they told us how to use the three sea shells. I figure that would be an important technological discussion, considering the future of all restaurants and the uncontrollable diarrhea one would get from expierencing that reality.

@wanderingrabbi: Thanks for the honest response. Truth is, not being starred, its too easy to ignore me if you dont like my post. When you bitch at me, you only promote the convo. Id prefer to not be promoted than to be a featured post, getting a negative view in the process. Review my comment history before you

@Odomzig: I was poking fun at Giz's love for the i-products, not hating on the products themselves. Jesus, people get touchy when it comes to Apple.

@anitesh.jaswal: Well lets just get our panties in a bunch over it! My post was most certainly NOT trolling, and was light-hearted to boot. Seems you have a sad fetish for defending certain companies, even when no one was BITCHING in the first place. Grow up, and have a damn laugh or two already.

Has anyone invented a drinking game involving how many posts a day there are involving i-products?
