Sorry to hear that, I live in Oregon where lifted or otherwise modified pickups are pretty much issued to every new driver and I more often have problems with dirtbags driving 15 year old BMW 3 series sedans than guys driving pickups.

Fun to see how many “Car People” in the comments are really “my car” people. Its amazing how irritated people get when presented an avenue of care culture they don’t agree with or find attractive. I have specific parts of car culture I enjoy and things I don’t but I try not to s**t talk things just because they’re not

I would love to see the new Mach-E ad campaign include your glowing endorsement.

I’ll also offer a Kia Stinger GT. Technically it is a hatch back and there are some out there for right around 20K if you do some searching.

Where’s David’s Shit box Jeep recommendations or Torch’es 1997 Toyota Century. Common sense and practical recommendations are no fun.

When I worked briefly at a dealership many years ago some guy traded in a fairly rare quad cab S-10 pick up from the early 2000s in cherry conditions with super low miles and got essentially nothing for it on trade. Seeing clean, older low mileage cars is kind of like stepping into a time machine.

Ouch town, population you bro!

To be fair to Clarkson, Hammond and May, they were not contractually allowed to do many of the car culture things they normally did when they left/were fired from Top Gear.

Lets be honest, If you watch Grand Tour/Top Gear and you expect anything new or groundbreaking you’re a shmuck. Leaning on old gags and tropes is what they’ve done for years and those that hit play should expect as much. Those guys are like the Simpsons at this point, they’ve done everything there is to do ,nothing is

I know this seems like a crazy idea but most craigslist ads have some sort of contact info. You could send them an email or give them a call and see why they chose that little custom touch.

Sorry Torch, I believe you are incorrect sir but only partly. On the Marlin the bumper comes to a point where the fin comes down off the fender in the rear. on the front the bumper is completely flat on 65-66 and the 67s are closer in shape but still different. You are partly correct in that the base Rambler on which

5th gear: WE WANT MORE MONNAY!

In the defense of GM designers, If your job was only to design vehicles all day you’d probably come up with some “interesting” designs. Maybe these designs are the equivalent of busy work. Just enough to keep the boss happy but not good enough that they want you to keep working on it.

Looks pretty good but I think they need to ditch the black roof. I would look a bit more classic in my opinion with a color matched roof

ZING!

May just be 8 lug because of the overall weight of the vehicle with all the batteries it will inevitable need. If a Tesla model X weights 5,500lb the hummer will be pretty close to the weight of a Diesel truck.

With regards to direct sales, just think of this. When was the last time you got a good deal or paid less than MSRP on a new iphone when purchasing direct from APPLE. The same will be true from manufacturer direct sales, people have become accustomed the price of a new vehicle and manufacturers have no reason to lower

There in lies the problem. With direct sales the manufacturer will charge what they determine is MSRP minus whatever incentives and you have not room to negotiate that lower price within the margins that currently exist. Just because a manufacturer could sell them for less without the dealership means they will,

Pretty sure they did a Time Trial of self driving cars at the Goodwood Hill Climb a year or so back. The race was not so much who’s car was the fastest but who could actually make it through the course.

Yesterday, the team claimed it was 26 seconds faster than the second-place car in qualifying, taking pole.”
