Metzen is hardly akin to Lucas. For one, Metzen has a better grasp on his brand. Nor is he the sole author, artist, or voice actor. WC, and Blizzard in general, has better bureaucracy surrounding it and will never be down to the childish whims of one person, like with the Star Wars prequels and Lucas.

This still begs the question, what happens after WoD?

Metzen helped create and voice so much of Warcraft, and even though he's a physical analogue to that douche Bono doesn't mean he should be kicked out!

The waterfall ambush is what really makes me think there's glue. Either way, these sets are gorgeous- particularly the wizard's treehouse and the firework shop.

Pritchard was one of those bitter intellects, likely bullied by jocks at school, that had a thesaurus on hand to make sure he knew words you didn't. Too bad there was never any dialogue option to call him on that during my asshole playthrough.

Words I learned from this game: drake, cauterize, ziggurat, mage. Basically I wasn't into fantasy at all as a kid and some little-known, sub-par fantasy game introduced me to a lot of fantasy tropes.

I have ripped music from the Azuremyst Isle draeni starting zone. Two years after doing so and I still use the tracks to sleep and study. Just as an example of how much I like WoW music.

Get out of here, Putin. Bring back Kruschev.

But why have a functional loading screen when we can stare at CHARACTER/ITEM MODELS? We don't get to see character models or items nearly enough in the game and I for one would miss the opportunity to see them in-depth.

I thought they fixed that with the pre-expansion patch.

I still love you!

Learn to use a period!

Except WoW, which never fails in the music department. If anything they tried *too hard* in the most recent xpac.

It was a great game for Alien/Aliens fans that took interesting liberties with established lore. It's the kind of game that relies on immersion for most of the fear, so I can understand how it could be boring for the uninitiated.
