Unless you are eating food that functions well as takeout, like pasta, Chinese, Thai, pizza, etc., very little restaurant food works well as leftovers without repurposing it, which means then having to prepare a whole new dish the next day. I’ll take the leftover steak if I know that I have the time and ingredients to

Where the Big Ones Run!

You realize that all of your tip goes to the driver and absolutely none of it to the restaurant workers right? One of my regular spots had to fire Postmates because they would never tip the staff. Normal people picking up a to go order from the bar usually would leave at least a dollar, but Postmates runners would

Yep, if you look at linguistic maps of the US, Buffalo is part of that Great Lakes/Upper Midwest reject.

I read a great article that explained why Illinois and Indiana are so different even though they share a large border, are similarly sized, and at the same latitude. Illinois was settled mostly from the north down, while Indiana was settled mostly from the south up. A generalization of the article to be sure, but

I really hate Burger King, but now I really want to order two Whoppers Junior.

Comparing actual racing like IndyCar has to parades like F1 is crazy. If I wanted to see fancy cars follow each other for hours, I’d move to LA.

North Carolina has annual inspections and there is no way that car would pass unless the owner "knows a guy".

The Wrigley Field version would have a fields of ivy past 350 feet. Poison ivy after 500 feet.

Yep, this was my exact thought as soon as I read it. Also:

Yippy didn’t bring up politics at all, you brought up the Trump Organization and that thing hasbeen shady as hell for decades.

That’s what I love about Indy. It's not always about money or even talent, it's racing. Go fast or go home.

Yep! I thought that the first time they saw him it was crazy and then this happened.

I have two friends hiking the trail and I heard the stories of running into him last month. They were only a few miles south of where this happened and just hiked past that camp today. Surreal. Glad they are okay.

That’s the thing. This article is dumb because just chopping onions tiny doesn’t make them like McDonald’s, it just makes them small. They need to be dehydrated also. The author showed that they are actually clueless about McDonald’s style onions and should be embarrassed.

Just put the door outside of the zone on the other side of the blue line and then this wouldn’t be an issue.

Obviously a White Sox fan taking in a Cubs game. (RIP Marchman).

Yeah, it was a terrible thing and it’s sad that something random like that could take the whole chain out as well. To be fair, I think Brown’s was already slipping by then, but still. And I know there are still a number of Chicago-area locations, but they never were as strong after the massacre.

The fried mushrooms at Brown's were the best! I miss that chain.

I never listen to the Deadcast or any podcasts. I can read a lot faster that listening to someone talk.
