My guess is that more job losses will occur at suppliers and focused machine shops that produce the many parts used in the engine and transmission.  That and the tooling companies that provide tooling bits, etc.  Yes, there will still be demand but I don’t see the sector growing that much.

When a car is at the dealership, the dealership either owns it or is financing it for roughly $5-$10 per day in interest charges through another bank that actually “owns” it.

Everyday Driver has a long episode that discusses these cars and road tripped a base Cayman, Alfa 4C and Lotus (forget which one). Here is the basic conclusion.

This is only based on the picture you show of the Taycan and my memory of sitting in a Model 3 but the Taycan appears to offer about the same room a 3 does, with the S having a touch more rear leg room.

They might factor a bit but that fact remains that unless you build more density in then the cost remains the same and even then you are just adding more people to the mix. Those house in the far flung places will still be desirable because the population keeps growing and someone will want it and the others will buy

Can confirm for MA. Cost of electricity is also high and fuel prices relatively low. When I run the numbers for my ‘16 Sonata HEV, in the past I have been better off nearly all the time using it as a hybrid. But we are talking about fractions of a penny. Unless you are doing some Office Space math, there isn’t really

Just read what you just wrote... even as a joke that is pretty bad but par for the course for the “superior liberal”.

Except for the lack of water which is not an insignificant problem.

I almost bought one, they were pretty heavily discounted when I was looking 3 years ago but the plug in incentive on the Sonata PHEV made me go that route. From what I remember, the Malibu Hybrid was pretty nice on the short test drive and the Fusion Hybrid and PHEV (Energi) were good too, but the Sonata beat them by

Pedestrians per Mile compared to standard EcoBoost and GT variants?

And when the plane comes to a stop, it gets slingshotted backwards into the sky again. MEEP MEEP!!

Seems like you are hung up on marketing speak. The thing Caddy screwed up was not being very clear about it’s intentions when it came to moving what was once it’s top spec sports models to what was once considered a “V-Sport” type trim.

Agreed.  Those of us that work, or have to drive to get places would still do so.

I believe it is Musk’s way to say he has the fastest 4 door as well as fastest 7 seater, which would then pretty much be a benchmark no one will ever touch unless we start seeing high performance 7/8 seat CUV/SUVs hitting the ‘Ring.

Can we all agree that phrases like “throwing shade” and “woke” are the worst? I refuse to say either and feel like a moron even just typing them.

The latest E Class convertible is my favorite right now mainly because it has the potential to actually hold my family of 4, even being a tall driver. There really are not any true 4 seat convertibles and now that the E class ‘vert is based on an E class car and not a modified C class like the previous generation, the

Absolutely. Roads benefit everyone whether you drive or not.
